In the third quarter of 2025, the fast food and fast casual restaurant app market on Android in Australia showed varied performance trends. According to Sensor Tower, these insights reveal how each app fared in terms of downloads and active users.
MyMacca's saw significant growth in weekly downloads, peaking at about 20.6K in early September. Despite fluctuations, the app maintained a strong user base, with weekly active users climbing from 756K at the start of the quarter to approximately 897K by the end.
KFC - Order On The Go experienced a downward trend in downloads, starting at 17K and dropping to about 7.7K by late September. However, weekly active users showed resilience, ending the quarter with a slight increase to 361K from an earlier low of 320K.
Hungry Jack’s Deals & Ordering downloads remained relatively stable, fluctuating around the 8K mark. Active users showed a slight decline from 252K to 222K over the quarter, reflecting a modest engagement level.
Guzman y Gomez (GYG) Mexican maintained steady weekly downloads around 5K. The app's active user base increased slightly, closing the quarter at 70.5K, up from 70.5K at the start.
Pizza Hut Australia had a notable rise in downloads mid-quarter, reaching a peak of 7.9K before settling to around 6.6K. Active users rose from 15.8K to 17.5K, indicating a positive trend in user engagement.
