In the third quarter of 2025, the performance of fast food and fast casual restaurant apps on the Android platform in Spain showed varied trends in downloads and active users, as reported by Sensor Tower.
McDonald's experienced a decline in weekly downloads, starting from 40K in early July and dropping to around 15K by the end of September. Meanwhile, weekly active users decreased from approximately 1.2M to 789K over the same period.
For BURGER KING® España, weekly downloads fluctuated, peaking at 19.6K in mid-August before settling at about 12K by the end of September. The app's weekly active users saw a downward trend, decreasing from 731K to 477K.
KFC España had a notable increase in downloads in late August with a peak of 19.3K. Active users, however, showed some volatility, starting at 194K, dipping in late September, and ending the quarter at 160K.
Domino’s Pizza España showed a stable pattern in weekly downloads with a slight increase, ending at 8.4K in late September. The app's active users rose significantly towards the quarter's end, reaching 141K.
Finally, POPEYES ESPAÑA maintained a relatively stable download rate, with a slight decrease towards the end of the quarter, finishing at around 5.2K. Active users also remained stable, ending at 50K.
