In the third quarter of 2025, the Mexican Android market witnessed significant activity in the Film & Television app category. Here’s a detailed look at the top-performing apps based on data from Sensor Tower.
Cinépolis experienced fluctuations in its weekly downloads, starting at around 65.8K at the beginning of July and peaking at 77.5K in mid-August. However, a sharp decline was observed towards the end of the quarter, with downloads dropping to 7.5K. Meanwhile, weekly active users saw a general downward trend from 537K to 262K by the end of September.
Cinépolis Cinemas Indonesia saw a modest increase in downloads, reaching 1.8K in early September, before tapering off to 223 by the end of the month. Active users mirrored this trend, peaking at 1.75K and then declining to 633.
Cinépolis Go showed robust download numbers, beginning at 204K and maintaining a strong presence with 176K downloads in early September, though it tapered off to 75.6K by month’s end. Active users remained high, starting at 1.79M and peaking at 2.44M in September before settling at 1.93M.
Cinépolis India had minimal activity, with downloads peaking at 115 in early September. Active users steadily decreased from 33 to 4 by the end of the quarter.
Lastly, TodayTix – Theatre Tickets maintained relatively stable download numbers, averaging around 700-800 weekly, with a slight dip mid-quarter. Active users increased from 1.3K to 1.95K by the end of September.
