In the third quarter of 2025, the Android platform in Mexico witnessed notable trends in film and television applications, as observed by Sensor Tower.
Cinépolis Go showcased a strong presence with weekly downloads peaking at approximately 214.7K in early August. However, a decline was observed toward the end of the quarter, with downloads decreasing to about 75.6K. The app maintained a robust user base, with active users reaching a high of 2.4M in early September before settling around 1.9M by the quarter's end.
Cinépolis experienced fluctuations in weekly downloads, initially peaking at 77.5K in mid-August but dropping sharply to 7.5K by September. Active users also saw a decline, beginning at 536.9K and decreasing to 261.8K over the quarter.
TodayTix – Theatre Tickets had a relatively stable download trend, with figures ranging from 287 to 1.1K throughout the quarter. Active users increased, peaking at 1.9K in late September, reflecting moderate engagement.
Cinépolis Cinemas Indonesia saw a surge in downloads, reaching 1.8K in early September. Active users also grew, peaking at 1.7K before declining to 633 by the end of the quarter.
Cinépolis India had minimal activity, with downloads starting at 115 and dropping to zero, while active users dwindled from 33 to 4 by the quarter's end.
