2026 State of Mobile is Live!

In the third quarter of 2025, the Android food delivery app market in Germany showcased diverse trends among the top five applications. Here's a closer look at their performance based on data from Sensor Tower.
Too Good To Go: End Food Waste saw consistent growth in weekly downloads, starting from around 27K at the beginning of July and peaking at over 41K by early September. Active users fluctuated, beginning at approximately 1.25M and experiencing a dip to around 1.16M, before recovering to close the quarter at about 1.31M.
Lieferando.de experienced a stable download rate with minor fluctuations, starting at 22.7K and closing the quarter with about 26K downloads. Its active user base showed a similar pattern, rising from 1.58M to a high of 1.74M mid-quarter, before ending the period at approximately 1.73M.
Uber Eats: Food and Grocery had a notable increase in downloads towards the end of the quarter, growing from roughly 20K to over 34K weekly downloads. Active users saw a slight increase, beginning at 385K and finishing at around 396K.
Picnic Online Supermarket started with 16K downloads, experiencing a peak of about 25K mid-September. Active users followed an upward trajectory, starting at 439K and climbing to nearly 470K by the end of the quarter.
Lastly, Wolt Delivery: Food and more maintained a steady download rate, fluctuating between 10K and 14K. Its active users showed growth from 313K to approximately 345K by the end of September.
