In the third quarter of 2025, the performance of the top investing and financial management applications on the Android platform in Kenya showed varied trends across key metrics. Here’s a closer look at the top five apps based on data from Sensor Tower.
FBS – Trading Broker experienced a notable rise in weekly downloads, starting from 9.7K in early July and reaching a peak of 27.2K by the end of September. The app's weekly active users also saw a significant increase, climbing from 61K to over 102K during the same period.
Pocket Broker had an initial surge in downloads, peaking at 23K in mid-August, but faced a decline towards the end of the quarter, with downloads dropping to 11.5K. Weekly active users followed a similar trend, decreasing from 87K at the start to 47.5K by the end of September.
Binance: Buy Bitcoin & Crypto saw steady growth in downloads, starting at 5.6K and reaching 12.6K by late September. The app maintained a robust number of active users, increasing from 261K to approximately 331K throughout the quarter.
MetaTrader 5 — Forex, Stocks had a stable download rate, fluctuating between 4.8K and 7K. Active users grew steadily, reaching nearly 250K by the end of September from an initial 211K.
MiniPay - Stablecoin Wallet demonstrated consistent growth in downloads, rising from 4.1K to 7.2K. The app's active users also increased, peaking at 53.5K by the end of the quarter.
