In the third quarter of 2025, the top paid games on the Android platform in Australia showcased diverse trends in downloads, revenue, and active users. Here's a closer look at the performance of each game based on data from Sensor Tower.
Minecraft: Dream it, Build it! by Mojang saw a notable pattern in its weekly metrics. Revenue experienced fluctuations, peaking at around $16.2K early in the quarter and closing at approximately $15.8K. Downloads exhibited a steady increase, reaching 379 in mid-September. However, active users slightly decreased from 7.4K to 5.5K over the quarter.
Balatro from Playstack faced a declining trend in revenue, starting at $2.9K and ending at $1.7K. Downloads fluctuated, peaking at 258 in mid-September, while active users showed a recovery from 2.1K to 2.8K towards the end of the quarter.
Bloons TD 6 by ninja kiwi experienced a mixed quarter. Revenue started at $2.1K, dipped mid-quarter, and ended at $1.7K. Downloads remained relatively stable, with a slight peak at 130 in late September. Active users saw a gradual decline from 1.5K to just under 900 by the quarter's end.
Slay the Spire from Humble Games showed consistent revenue, maintaining around $700 weekly, with a slight dip mid-quarter. Downloads increased towards the end of the quarter, peaking at 123. Active users remained stable, hovering around 1.7K throughout the quarter.
Finally, Stardew Valley by ConcernedApe saw its revenue rise from $530 to $967. Downloads saw a peak at 190 in late August, and active users remained relatively stable at around 600.
