In the third quarter of 2025, the top tools apps on the Android platform in Algeria demonstrated varied performance trends. Here’s a closer look at the weekly downloads and active users for these leading applications, based on data from Sensor Tower.
SHAREit: Transfer, Share Files maintained a strong presence with a significant fluctuation in weekly downloads. The app saw an increase from approximately 81K at the start of July to a peak of over 106K in the week of August 25. Despite a decline in active users from 4.3M to 3.8M throughout the quarter, the app remained popular among users.
My Ooredoo Algeria experienced a notable rise in downloads, starting at 55K in early July and reaching a high of 90K by September 22. The app's active users showed a stable trend, hovering around 2.2M, with minor fluctuations during the period.

NotiByte saw a varied download pattern, with numbers starting at 34K, peaking at 58K in late July, and then stabilizing around 32K towards the end of the quarter. Active users showed a gradual decline from nearly 194K to 172K.
Djezzy had consistent download growth, starting at 28K and reaching 42K by September 22. Active users, however, fluctuated between 2.4M and 2.8M, indicating a shifting user base.
