In the third quarter of 2025, the tower defense genre on Android saw varied performances in the Netherlands, with notable trends in downloads, revenue, and active users. Here’s a closer look at the top five games in this category, based on data from Sensor Tower.
Arknights showed a fluctuating revenue trend, peaking at approximately $6.5K in late September. Downloads remained relatively stable, with a slight increase towards the end of the quarter, reaching around 62 per week. Active users hovered around 200, with a small rise to 225 by the end of September.
Wittle Defender experienced a decline in weekly downloads, dropping from 962 to 237 over the quarter. Revenue saw a peak in July with $4.5K and stabilized around $3.2K by late September. Active users decreased significantly from nearly 2K to just 184.
Watcher of Realms had a notable peak in revenue mid-July at $7.5K, followed by a decrease, stabilizing around $1.7K. Downloads remained steady, with minor fluctuations, while active users showed a gradual increase, reaching 397 by quarter's end.
Rush Royale: Tower Defense TD saw its revenue peak at $4.5K at the start of the quarter and maintained a steady performance around $3.6K. Downloads spiked in July with over 3K, but later stabilized around 400. Active users peaked at over 7K in August, with a decline towards the end of the quarter.
Finally, Raid Rush: Tower Defense TD showed a consistent revenue increase, peaking at $4.8K in early August. Downloads reached a high of 1.2K in late July, with a gradual decline thereafter. Active users remained strong throughout the quarter, averaging around 8K.
