In the third quarter of 2025, the performance of the top consumer finance applications on iOS in New Zealand showcased various trends in downloads and active user engagement. Here's a detailed look at how these apps fared.
ANZ goMoney New Zealand maintained a consistent weekly download rate, peaking at about 2.5K downloads towards the end of August. Active users showed a steady increase from approximately 346K to 369K over the quarter.
ASB Mobile Banking displayed a gradual increase in weekly downloads, concluding the quarter with around 1.6K downloads. The app experienced a decline in weekly active users, starting at roughly 198K and ending at about 173K.
Revolut: Send, spend and save experienced a varied download trend, with a notable peak of nearly 2K downloads in early September. However, active users decreased from approximately 12.5K to 12K throughout the quarter.
BNZ Mobile saw a sharp rise in downloads at the beginning of the quarter, reaching around 2.1K, but later stabilized at approximately 1K. The active user base fluctuated, eventually rising from about 100K to 88K by the end of September.
Westpac One NZ Mobile Banking had a consistent download rate, ending September with approximately 1.3K downloads. Active users showed an upward trend, increasing from about 101K to 105K.
