In the third quarter of 2025, the iOS dating app market in Kenya showcased interesting trends across the top five applications. Here's a look at how each app performed in terms of downloads, revenue, and active users, based on data from Sensor Tower.
OmeTV – Video Chat Alternative saw a varied performance. Weekly revenue peaked at around $96 in late July, while downloads fluctuated, reaching a high of approximately 2.3K in late September. Active users showed an initial decline from 5K to about 2K but rebounded to 3.8K at the end of the quarter.
Tinder Dating App: Date & Chat maintained a strong presence with weekly revenue mostly staying between $1.3K and $1.8K. Downloads were stable, peaking at 845 in early September. Active users showed an overall increase, climbing from 8.6K to over 8K by the quarter's end.
Bumpy – International Dating experienced modest revenue, with a notable peak of $292 in early September. Downloads showed a steady pattern with a peak of 760 in late September, while active users increased from 3.1K to 3.2K during the quarter.
Bumble Dating App: Meet & Date recorded consistent revenue, ranging from $1.3K to $1.7K, with a peak in early September. Downloads remained stable, peaking at 543 in early September, while active users decreased slightly from 6.5K to 5.6K by the end of the quarter.
Finally, AfroIntroductions: Afro Dating showed a steady increase in revenue, peaking at $457 in late September. Downloads saw a significant increase in mid-September, reaching 533, while active users increased from 998 to 1.1K by the quarter's end.
