In the third quarter of 2025, the iOS platform in the United States saw intriguing trends among the top horror games. Here's a look at how these games performed, based on data from Sensor Tower.
Granny, developed by Dennis Vukanovic, experienced a decline in weekly downloads, starting from approximately 40.7K at the beginning of July and dropping to around 20.9K by the end of September. The game's weekly active users also decreased from about 296.6K to 180K over the quarter.
The Baby In Yellow, created by Team Terrible Limited, showed a gradual decrease in downloads, beginning with 27.7K in early July and ending with 15.8K in late September. Active users peaked at 124.5K mid-quarter but fell to 65.2K by the end of the period.
Tokyo Debunker by ZigZaGame Inc. had fluctuating revenue, peaking at $57.5K in mid-July, while weekly downloads saw a decrease from 25.5K to around 11.8K. Active users started at 83.6K and ended slightly lower at 47.3K.
Hello Neighbor, from tinyBuild LLC, maintained relatively stable downloads with a slight dip from 15.5K to 12.6K. Revenue hovered around $2K-$3K weekly, while active users increased towards the end of the quarter, reaching 45.1K.
Scary Teacher 3D by GenITeam LLC saw a decline in downloads from 14.3K to 8K. Despite this, active users peaked at 113K in early August but dropped to 58.5K by the end of September.
