In the third quarter of 2025, the insurance app landscape on iOS in Germany saw diverse trends across the top five applications. Here's a breakdown of their performance based on data from Sensor Tower.
TK-App had a consistent increase in weekly downloads, starting at 10.5K and peaking at 15.8K by the end of September. Active users also showed an upward trajectory, climbing from 440K to 529K.
Meine Allianz displayed fluctuations in downloads, with a notable peak of 8.5K in late July. Active users experienced a slight decline from 89.5K to 74.6K over the quarter.
HUK Mein Auto saw steady download numbers, reaching a high of 5.1K in the final week. Active users increased significantly from 162.6K to 183.7K.
The Allianz Gesundheits-App had a surge in downloads mid-quarter, with a peak of 9.2K in early August. Active users remained relatively stable, rounding off the quarter at 45.7K.
Finally, the DAK app maintained consistent download numbers, with a slight rise to 4K at the end. Active users showed a mild increase, finishing the quarter at 61.4K.
