In the third quarter of 2025, the top five books applications in Denmark on the unified platform showed varied performance trends in weekly downloads, revenue, and active users. Here's a detailed look at each app's performance, based on data from Sensor Tower.
eReolen maintained a steady presence in the Danish market. Weekly downloads ranged between 3.3K and 4.5K, peaking at 4.5K in early September. Meanwhile, weekly active users began at approximately 165K and experienced a slight dip to around 145K by the end of the quarter.
Storytel - Audiobooks Library showed a strong revenue trend, starting at $57.6K and ending at $51.7K. Downloads fluctuated slightly, with a high of 3.2K in early July and a low of 1.9K at the end of September. Active users increased from 104K to 116K over the quarter.
Biblioteket saw a consistent download trend, ranging from 1.5K to 2.3K weekly. Active users started at 121K and showed an upward trajectory, reaching 136K by the end of September.
Saxo: Audiobooks & E-books maintained steady revenue, fluctuating around the $21K-$23K mark. The app's downloads saw slight variations, with a peak of 1.3K in early September. Active users consistently grew from 29.7K to 48.6K.
Nextory: Audiobooks & E-books experienced a fluctuating revenue pattern, starting at $1.7K and ending at $2.1K. Downloads decreased progressively over the quarter, from 1.3K to 535. Active users showed a slight decline, beginning at 9.8K and ending at 9.5K.
