In the third quarter of 2025, the top carpooling and ridesharing apps in Colombia showcased varied performance trends on a unified platform, combining data from both iOS and Android. This analysis, powered by Sensor Tower, provides insights into the download and active user metrics for these popular apps.
Yango: taxi, food, delivery experienced a noticeable fluctuation in weekly downloads, peaking at around 196K in early August before declining to approximately 133K by the end of September. Active users displayed a steady increase, starting at 2.4M and rising to nearly 2.8M by the quarter's end.
inDrive. Save on city rides maintained a consistent download rate, with a slight peak of 115K in mid-August. Active users grew steadily, reaching over 5.3M by the end of September.
DiDi Rider: Affordable rides demonstrated stable download numbers, hovering around 95K throughout the quarter. Active users increased from 5.9M to just over 6M, showing a gradual upward trend.
DiDi Driver: Drive & Earn Cash saw a steady rise in downloads, culminating at 49K in late August. Active users also increased, reaching approximately 845K by the end of September.
Finally, Uber - Request a ride maintained a stable download rate, with a slight increase to 45K in late September. Active users experienced growth, climbing from 2.5M to over 2.7M by the end of the quarter.
