In the third quarter of 2025, the carpooling and ridesharing app landscape in the Czech Republic showed varied trends across the top five applications. Based on data from Sensor Tower, here's a closer look at their performance.
Bolt: Request a Ride, developed by BOLT TECHNOLOGY OU, saw a fluctuation in weekly downloads, peaking at approximately 18.4K in mid-August before declining to around 12.4K by the end of September. Weekly active users started at 642K but dropped to about 503K by the quarter's end.
Uber - Request a ride maintained a steady user base, with weekly downloads ranging from 5.6K to 7.6K. Active users showed a slight decrease from 123K to 103K over the quarter.
Yandex Go: Taxi Food Market experienced a consistent decline in downloads, starting at 5.8K and ending at 762. Active users also decreased from 9.9K to approximately 4.7K during this period.
BlaBlaCar: Carpooling and Bus showed relatively stable trends in both downloads and active users. Downloads slightly tapered from 1.2K to 467, while active users decreased from 6K to 4.6K.
Grab: Taxi Ride, Food Delivery had a modest performance with downloads ranging between 615 and 802. The active user count remained steady, increasing slightly from 46.6K to 47.7K.
