In the third quarter of 2025, the Croatian market for carpooling and ridesharing apps demonstrated dynamic trends across the top five applications, with data sourced from Sensor Tower.
Uber - Request a ride showed a fluctuating pattern in weekly downloads, starting at around 5.3K and experiencing a dip in early August, before a resurgence to 5.1K by late September. Active users followed a similar trajectory, peaking at 127K towards the end of the quarter after a low of 82K in late July.
Bolt: Request a Ride experienced a varied download trend, with a notable increase to over 5.1K in late September. The app maintained a strong base of active users, reaching up to 225K by the end of the quarter, reflecting a consistent upward trend from mid-August.
BlaBlaCar: Carpooling and Bus saw a gradual decline in downloads, bottoming out at 1.5K in early September before a slight recovery. However, its active user base steadily increased, achieving a high of 53K by the end of September.
Uber - Driver: Drive & Deliver had a relatively stable download performance with minor fluctuations, while active users remained around 5.3K throughout the quarter, indicating steady engagement.
Freenow by Lyft - taxi & more downloads showed a gradual increase, particularly towards the end of September when they peaked at 709. Active users also rose, reaching 1.9K in late September.
