In the third quarter of 2025, the top consumer finance applications in Latin America showed varied performance metrics across downloads and active user engagement on a unified platform. Here’s a closer look at how these apps fared.
Nu from NU PAGAMENTOS S/A maintained impressive weekly downloads, peaking at around 1M in late July. The app had a consistent user base, with weekly active users fluctuating between 108M and 114M, demonstrating strong engagement.
Inter – Banking & Investing saw a notable increase in downloads, reaching up to 465K in mid-August. Active users remained steady, hovering around 39M throughout the quarter.
Banco Santander Brasil experienced a gradual rise in downloads, climbing to approximately 366K by the end of September. The app's active user count showed resilience, maintaining numbers between 39M and 44M.
CAIXA observed a peak in downloads at 423K in early August, while active users remained stable, ranging from 40M to 45M.
Finally, Banco Itaú: Conta, Cartão e + recorded a peak in downloads at 401K at the start of the quarter, with active users showing consistent engagement from 36M to nearly 41M by quarter's end.
