In the third quarter of 2025, the fast food and fast casual restaurant apps in Sweden displayed varied performance trends across downloads and active user engagement, as reported by Sensor Tower.
McDonald’s saw a decline in weekly downloads, starting at approximately 8.4K at the beginning of July and ending at around 5.2K by the end of September. Meanwhile, weekly active users showed an upward trend, increasing from 219K to about 229K.
Max Express experienced fluctuations in weekly downloads, peaking at 8.8K in late September. Active users initially increased from 154K to 168K in early August, before declining to 133K by the end of the quarter.
Burger King Sverige showed a notable spike in downloads in early July, with numbers reaching up to 7.8K, but later decreased to just over 3K by the end of September. Active users remained relatively stable, with a slight dip from 28K to 22K.
Espresso House saw a steady increase in downloads, starting at 1.9K and reaching 2.5K by quarter's end. Active users increased significantly from 93K to 101K, showing strong engagement.
KFC Sweden downloads varied, with a peak of 2.2K in mid-July. Active user numbers were stable, fluctuating slightly around 19K throughout the quarter.
