In the third quarter of 2025, the Film & Television app landscape in France showed diverse trends across the top five applications on a unified platform, combining data from both iOS and Android.
Pathé France maintained a strong presence with weekly downloads fluctuating between 8.1K and 18.4K. The app saw a notable spike mid-September, peaking at over 17K downloads. Weekly active users started at over 523K but dipped to around 404K by the end of the quarter.
UGC direct exhibited a steady increase in weekly downloads, beginning at 8.1K and reaching a high of nearly 9K in mid-September. Active users rose from about 259K to a peak of 298K, reflecting growing engagement.
CGR Cinémas showed a relatively stable download trend, with numbers ranging from 3.9K to a peak of 9.6K. Active users fluctuated, starting at 200K and ending at 169K, indicating some variability in user retention.
AlloCiné, les films au cinéma experienced a modest revenue stream, peaking at $429 in early September. Downloads remained consistent, averaging around 1.5K weekly. Active users hovered near 481K at the beginning, slightly decreasing to 437K by quarter's end.
Lastly, TodayTix – Broadway Tickets had lower download numbers, peaking at 1.2K mid-quarter. Active users showed a slight increase, starting at 2.6K and peaking at over 3K in August.
