Top 5 MMORPGs in the US: Q3 2025 Performance Overview

In the third quarter of 2025, the MMORPG landscape in the United States saw notable trends across top applications, according to Sensor Tower data.

Diablo Immortal from Blizzard Entertainment showed a fluctuating revenue trend, starting at approximately $648K and dipping to around $297K before climbing back to over $496K by the end of September. Downloads remained relatively stable, peaking at about 17K in early July, while active users experienced a decline from 64K in late June to around 46K by the end of the quarter.

Old School RuneScape by Jagex maintained a consistent revenue growth, reaching over $224K at the end of September. The game saw a decline in downloads, dropping from 13K in July to about 7K by September. However, active users remained strong, peaking at approximately 170K in early August.

Newcomer Huntopia：Fantasy RPG from Leniu Games, which launched in late September, quickly gained traction with revenue jumping from $136K to $356K in just one week, and downloads reaching nearly 99K initially.

ATHENA:Blood Twins by EFUN FUSION COMPANY LIMITED experienced a consistent decline in revenue, from $150K at the start of the quarter to $52K by the end. Downloads also decreased from 14K to about 5K, while active users fluctuated significantly, ending with around 10K.

Finally, Albion Online from Sandbox Interactive GmbH displayed steady revenue, averaging around $16K to $18K weekly. Downloads saw a decline, starting at 5.9K and dropping to 4.8K. Active users decreased from 25K to 15K over the quarter.
