In the third quarter of 2025, the social app landscape in Qatar showcased diverse trends across various metrics. This analysis, based on data from Sensor Tower, highlights the performance of the top five social apps on a unified platform.
TikTok - Videos, Shop & LIVE experienced fluctuations in weekly revenue, beginning the quarter at approximately $258K, dipping mid-quarter, and peaking at $266K by the end of September. Weekly downloads saw a gradual decline from 19.5K to around 16K. However, weekly active users remained robust, peaking at over 1M in mid-July before settling at around 911K.
Poppo Live- Live Stream showed a steady decline in weekly downloads from 1.4K to 774. Revenue varied throughout the quarter, peaking at $14.5K in late August, while weekly active users fluctuated slightly, maintaining around 5K.
Likee - Short Video Community saw a notable increase in weekly revenue, reaching a high of $24K in early September. Downloads began at 1.4K and decreased to 1.2K by the quarter's end. Active users showed a slight downward trend, ending September at approximately 46.8K.
Chamet - Live Chat & Party encountered a significant drop in revenue, starting at $17.4K and dwindling to a mere $45 by September's close. Downloads also decreased sharply from 993 to 53. Active users remained relatively stable, fluctuating slightly around 13K.
Bigo Live - Live Streaming App exhibited a varied revenue pattern, with a peak of $27.2K in late July. Downloads decreased steadily from 4.4K to 3.2K. The app maintained a consistent base of active users, hovering around 56K throughout the quarter.
