In the third quarter of 2025, the travel and local app sector in Brazil saw notable performance trends across the top five applications. This analysis, based on data from Sensor Tower, highlights key metrics such as downloads and active users.
Airbnb experienced a consistent increase in weekly downloads, peaking at approximately 154.9K in mid-September. Active users also rose steadily, reaching around 4.7M by the end of the quarter.
Instabridge: WiFi Hotspot Map showed variable download numbers, with a peak of about 94.8K in late July. Active user numbers increased throughout the quarter, ending at approximately 528.7K.
BlaBlaCar: Carpooling and Bus maintained stable download figures, with a slight peak of 94.2K in late July. The app saw a rise in active users, reaching around 3.1M by mid-September.
ClickBus - Bus Tickets had increasing download trends, peaking at about 74K in early September. Active users fluctuated but closed the quarter at around 1.1M.
Decolar: Voos e Hotéis saw a significant spike in downloads, reaching 134.5K at the end of September. Active users showed a steady rise, ending the quarter at approximately 1.7M.
