In the third quarter of 2025, several travel and local apps showed notable performance trends in Algeria, as reported by Sensor Tower. Here's a closer look at how these apps fared:
Instabridge: WiFi Hotspot Map from Instabridge Sweden AB saw a varied trend in weekly downloads, peaking at around 34.4K in late September. Active users, however, experienced a decline from approximately 94.1K to 56.2K by the end of the quarter.
Volz, an Algerian app, showed a significant rise in downloads, reaching a high of 58.1K in the week of September 22. Active users increased steadily, culminating at about 84.9K at the quarter's close.
Nusuk | نسك from the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah saw substantial growth in downloads, with a remarkable jump to 129.3K by late September. Active user numbers also soared, ending the quarter at around 267K.
MAHATATI, published by SOGRAL, maintained a stable download rate, peaking at 24.3K in late July. Active users showed fluctuations, peaking at approximately 163.5K early in the quarter before settling at 126.2K.
Google Earth by Google LLC had a consistent download pattern, with a slight peak at 15.5K in early September. Active users saw a dip mid-quarter but rebounded to approximately 390.2K by the end.
