The final quarter of 2020 was a competitive round for boxing games on the Android platform in Europe. Sensor Tower's data shows how five major players in the category fared in terms of downloads, revenue, and weekly active users.
Gym Heros: Fighting Game by Fighting Arena saw a consistent increase in weekly revenue, peaking at $129K in early December before a slight dip to $93K by the end of the month. Downloads remained strong with a steady climb from 118K to 176K, while weekly active users surged from 274K to a high of 490K in the third week of December.
Lion Studios' Mr Fight - Wrestling Puzzles, which launched in October 2020, experienced fluctuating download numbers, starting at 42K and reaching a peak of 356K in the first full week of October. The weekly active users mirrored this trend, with an initial surge to 433K followed by a gradual decrease to 179K by year's end.
Slap Kings, another offering from Lion Studios, enjoyed an increase in revenue from $255K to $652K over the quarter. Downloads saw a mid-quarter spike at 208K but later stabilized around 123K. Weekly active users showcased remarkable engagement, starting at 472K and reaching up to 728K in early October.
CASUAL AZUR GAMES' I, The One - Fun Fighting Game observed a revenue increase from $209K to $246K in early October but ended the quarter at $138K. The game's downloads saw a decline from 129K to 109K, and weekly active users started strong at 339K but dipped to approximately 303K by the end of December.
Lastly, Karate Fighter: Fighting Games from Fighting Arena showed a revenue uptick in mid-quarter, reaching $142K in early December before settling at $75K. Downloads peaked at 117K in mid-November and then slightly dropped off to 84K. The weekly active users grew from 38K to 242K in November, followed by a gradual decrease to 188K.
