Fitness behemoth Fitbit saw a noticeable uptick in weekly active users, climbing from 758K in late September to over 834K by the year's end. Downloads peaked impressively in the third week of December with 100K, while revenue showed a steady increase, ending the quarter at $68K.
Strava: Run, Bike, Hike, another popular choice, demonstrated a robust revenue growth, concluding at $64K in the last week of December. The app's downloads saw a significant boost during the same period, recording over 31K downloads. Weekly active users also experienced growth, finishing at nearly 596K.
VeryFitPro maintained a steady stream of downloads, with a notable spike to 59K in the third week of December. The app's weekly active users showed an upward trajectory, ending the quarter with over 133K active users.
MyFitnessPal: Calorie Counter saw its weekly active users fluctuate, ultimately reaching over 157K by the close of December. Downloads for the app had a sharp rise in the final week, hitting over 20K. Revenue for MyFitnessPal settled at nearly $48K in the last week of the quarter.
NHS Couch to 5K, an app designed to help beginners start running, experienced its highest number of downloads in the last week of December at 29K, reflecting perhaps a surge in New Year's resolutions. The app's weekly active users also saw an increase, reaching over 147K.
