As the year 2020 drew to a close, the Jigsaw Puzzle category on Android in the United Kingdom saw interesting trends among the top applications. Data from Sensor Tower gives us a glimpse into how these apps fared in the fourth quarter.

Jigsaw Puzzles - Puzzle Games by Easybrain saw a consistent increase in revenue, from $105K at the start of the quarter to a peak of $219K mid-December, before dropping to $151K at year-end. Downloads spiked to 11K in late October but generally trended downwards to 6.9K by the end of December. Weekly active users fluctuated, reaching a high of 129K in late October and settling at 115K by the close of the quarter.

Magic Jigsaw Puzzles-Games HD from ZiMAD showed a robust increase in revenue, ending the quarter on a high note with $1.9K in the last week of December, up from $1.3K at the quarter's start. Downloads peaked at 7.4K in late October and then saw a decline to 4.1K. Weekly active users saw a high of 32K in late November but ended the quarter lower at 28K.

For Art Puzzle - Jigsaw Art Games, also by Easybrain, revenue growth was observed from a mere $5 in its launch week to $102K in the penultimate week of the year, closing at $74K. Downloads started strong at 9.9K in its first full week and reached a peak of 13.8K in early December. The app's weekly active users showed healthy growth, from 2.3K at its launch to over 13K by the end of the quarter.

Jigsaw Puzzles HD Puzzle Games by Guru Puzzle Game had negligible revenue figures at the start of the quarter, but this increased to $97 by December's end. Downloads grew consistently, from 1.8K in late September to 6.5K in the last week of 2020. Weekly active users more than tripled, from 3.2K to 12.8K over the same period.

Lastly, Jigsaw Puzzle - Daily Puzzles from Critical Hit Software experienced a rise in revenue, from $515K to $1.2M by the year's end. However, downloads ceased after the week of December 7th, which affected the weekly active users count, dropping from 7.6K in late October to 4.2K by the close of December.
