As the year 2020 wrapped up, the poker gaming scene on Android devices in Australia saw varying trends across key performance metrics. Sensor Tower provides a comprehensive look at how the top poker games fared in the last quarter of the year. Here's how each game stacked up.
Zynga Poker- Texas Holdem Game from Zynga, a long-standing favorite, showed a strong finish in Q4 with revenues peaking at $29K in the week of December 21. Downloads also surged to a high of 1.7K in the final week of December, while weekly active users (WAUs) reached a peak of 14K in the same period, reflecting a healthy engagement rate.
WSOP Poker: Texas Holdem Game by Playtika displayed a somewhat steady performance in revenues, with a notable increase to $24K during the week of December 21. The game experienced a download spike to 1.5K in early October, but this dipped to 913 in mid-December before a slight rebound. WAUs showed a decline towards the end of the quarter, down to 10K from a high of 11K earlier in the quarter.
Texas Hold'em Poker: Pokerist by KamaGames also saw fluctuations, with revenues reaching a high of $6K in the week of December 21. Download numbers were modest but ended on a high note with 203 downloads in the last week of December. WAUs showed a slight uptick towards the end of the period, reaching 1.3K.
Poker Face: Texas Holdem Poker from Comunix Ltd had a varied quarter. Revenue saw an impressive jump to $4.4K in the week leading up to Christmas, and downloads saw a significant surge in mid-December, hitting 684. WAUs showed an increase as the quarter progressed, ending at 1.9K.
Lastly, Poker Heat™ Texas Holdem Poker, another Playtika title, had its revenue peak at $4.7K in the week of November 23. Download figures remained fairly consistent, with a slight increase to 139 in the final week of December. The WAUs remained stable, hovering just above 500 throughout the quarter.
