Top 5 MMORPGs on iOS in Europe: A Q4 2020 Performance Analysis

As the mobile gaming industry continues to flourish, MMORPGs remain a popular genre among players seeking immersive experiences. Sensor Tower's data provides a snapshot of the top 5 MMORPGs on the iOS platform in Europe during the fourth quarter of 2020, showcasing their performance in terms of downloads, revenue, and weekly active users.

Tales of Wind saw a decrease in weekly downloads from 1.5K in the last week of September to 789 in the final week of December. Revenue peaked at $75K in the third week of December, while weekly active users dipped to 4.4K in the same period.

Shakes and Fidget: Idle RPG experienced fluctuating revenue, reaching a high of $111K in the third week of December. Downloads saw a high of 4K in the last week of September, but ended the quarter at around 2.8K. Active users hovered around 50K for most of the quarter.

Pearl Abyss Corp.'s Black Desert Mobile witnessed a significant spike in downloads, jumping from 3.1K to 14.8K from the start to the end of the quarter. The game also saw a revenue high of $60K in the third week of December and a rise in active users to 47K in the final week.

DOFUS Touch, published by Ankama from France, had a consistent revenue around the mid-$30K mark but saw an increase to $48K in the last week of November. Downloads saw a dip from 2.8K to 2.2K, while active users ended the quarter at approximately 22K.

Finally, Dragon Raja from Archosaur Games also experienced a rise in downloads from 3.4K to 4.9K throughout the quarter. Revenue was at its peak at $38K in the final week, and weekly active users increased to over 10K.
