The closing quarter of 2020 saw varying performances across the top Waifu games on the iOS platform in the United States. Data provided by Sensor Tower offers a closer look at the trends for these applications during this period.
ILLUSION CONNECT, published by SuperPrism Technology Co., Limited, displayed a decrease in both downloads and revenue as the quarter progressed. From the week of October 19, downloads started at 21K and saw a downward trend, ending the quarter at 5K. Revenue peaked in the week of October 26 with $222K and exhibited a general decline, finishing at $68K in the final week of December.
YOSTAR LIMITED's Azur Lane experienced a significant spike in revenue during the last week of December, reaching $243K, despite downloads remaining relatively stable, ranging from 1K to 2K over the quarter. The weekly active users showed a slight increase from 34K in late September to 35K at the end of December.
Honkai Impact 3rd - Part 2, by miHoYo Limited, also followed a similar pattern with a revenue peak in the weeks of December 14 and 21, hitting $107K and $114K, respectively. Downloads fluctuated, peaking at 11K in late November, while weekly active users rose slightly from 65K at the end of September to 63K by the year's end.
Idle Angels: Goddess' Warfare, from MUJOY PTE. LTD., showed an increase in revenue towards the end of December, reaching $29K, with downloads seeing a peak at 3K in the same period. Weekly active users exhibited a rise from 5K at the start of the quarter to 5K in the final week.
Lastly, Date A Live: Spirit Pledge, by K.K Goodshow Animation, had a revenue peak at $31K during the week of December 21. Downloads showed an upward trend towards the end of the quarter, starting at 2K and finishing at 2K. However, the data for weekly active users was not provided.
