In the first quarter of 2021, the UK's Android users showed a keen interest in maintaining their health and diet, as reflected by the performance of the top food and diet tracking applications. Data from Sensor Tower provides insights into the trends of these leading apps.

MyFitnessPal: Calorie Counter saw its revenue fluctuate, reaching a peak of $73K in early February before settling at around $59K by the end of March. Downloads showed a downward trend from 23K in the first week of January to 13K by the end of March, while weekly active users peaked at 194K in early March before dropping to 175K by the quarter's close.

Nutratech's Calorie Counter + experienced revenue growth, starting at $39K and reaching nearly $60K by the end of March. Downloads saw a high of 22K in the first week of January, with a dip to around 13K at the end of March. Weekly active users showed a consistent increase from 46K to 60K throughout the quarter.

The NHS Weight Loss Plan app, with no revenue reported, had its highest downloads at 25K in the second week of January, which gradually declined to 9K by the end of March. The app's weekly active users started strong at 39K and saw a slight decrease to around 28K by the quarter’s end.

Noom: Weight Loss & Health showed modest revenue figures, with a slight peak of $183 in early March, and downloads experienced a high of 11K in the last week of December, which then leveled out to around 8K at the end of March. Weekly active users were relatively stable, starting at 30K and rising slightly to 33K.

Lastly, Fastic: Fasting & Food Tracker had its revenue peak at $13K in the first week of January and then declined to around $7K by the end of March. Downloads saw a steep decline from 18K in the last week of December to just under 5K in late January, with a slight increase to 4.7K at the end of March. Active users started at 61K and saw a decrease to 45K.
