In the first quarter of 2021, the Android jigsaw puzzle category saw varied performance among its leading apps in the United States. Data from Sensor Tower provides a closer look at the downloads, revenue, and active user trends for these engaging digital pastimes.
Jigsaw Puzzles - Puzzle Games by Easybrain began the quarter with 47K downloads and peaked at 63K in late January before settling down to 25K by the end of March. Weekly active users started strong at 350K, reached a high of 397K in early February, and experienced a gradual decrease to 306K. Revenue trends remained relatively stable, with a peak of 1.3M USD in mid-March.
Guru Puzzle Game's Jigsaw Puzzles HD Puzzle Games showed a consistent pattern in downloads, starting at 26K and peaking at 31K, before dipping to 17K. The active users grew from 55K to a high of 74K but later dropped to 69K. Revenue saw fluctuations, with an initial 1.2M USD, a dip to 715K, and a rise to 1.3M USD by the end of the quarter.
BlockPuz: Block Puzzle Games by Rejoy Studio, despite generating no revenue, saw a remarkable increase in downloads, starting at 2.6K and soaring to 51K in mid-February. The weekly active users reflected this growth, jumping from 1.8K to 72K within the same period.
The app Art Puzzle - Jigsaw Art Games, another offering from Easybrain, showed a mixed trend with downloads beginning at 19K, peaking at 24K, and then declining to 19K. Active users showed a similar pattern, starting at 78K and climbing to 107K before reducing to 113K. Revenue was modest, with a slight increase from 429K to 449K USD.
Lastly, Magic Jigsaw Puzzles-Games HD by ZiMAD had a stable quarter with downloads starting at 11.9K and peaking at 17.3K. Active users fluctuated, starting at 88K, dipping to 76K, and then rising to 94K. The revenue for this app demonstrated resilience, starting at 13.1M USD and ending the quarter at 11.9M USD.
