The real-time strategy (RTS) genre continues to engage mobile gamers across Europe. As we analyze the first quarter of 2021, certain trends have emerged among the top RTS games on the Android platform. Leveraging data from Sensor Tower, we provide a snapshot of their performance.
Clash Royale saw a notable revenue peak in early January at nearly $490K, with another surge in early March to over $500K. Downloads remained strong with a slight increase towards the end of the quarter, reaching approximately 164K. Weekly active users showed resilience, peaking at over 10M by the end of March.
Art of War: Legions maintained a relatively steady revenue, with a high point of nearly $200K in mid-February. The game experienced its highest downloads for the quarter in late January at over 140K and saw a gradual decline in weekly active users, ending with around 830K.
Might & Magic: Era of Chaos had fluctuating revenue, ending March on a high note with approximately $90K. Downloads saw a peak in early January at over 10K but decreased towards the end of the quarter. The game's weekly active users remained stable, with a slight increase to around 42K.
Infinite Galaxy, despite being a new entrant, showed promising growth. The revenue climbed steadily throughout the quarter, reaching over $100K by the end of March. Downloads peaked in mid-January at over 100K, and weekly active users followed a similar upward trajectory, ending at approximately 121K.
Auto Brawl Chess observed varied revenue, with a significant rise in early March to nearly $70K. Downloads surged in mid-February to over 42K but dipped towards the quarter's end. Weekly active users peaked in mid-February at over 84K but saw a decline to approximately 55K by March's close.
