Data from Sensor Tower provides a glimpse into the performance of the top 5 tycoon games during this time. Here's a breakdown of how these games fared in terms of downloads, revenue, and weekly active users.
Township saw its revenue fluctuating over the quarter, starting at $1.3M and ending at around $1.2M. Downloads showed a downward trend, from 58K in the last week of December 2020 to 36K by the end of March 2021. Weekly active users also decreased from 402K to 411K.
Klondike Adventures: Farm Game experienced a dip in revenue from $773K to $803K, while downloads peaked in early January at 28K, then gradually declined to 17K by the quarter's end. Active users started at 151K and saw a dip, finishing at 142K.
Family Island™ — Farming game showed an upward revenue trend from $254K to $433K. Its downloads were relatively stable, with a slight decrease from 29K to 27K. The game’s weekly active users increased over the quarter from 84K to 97K.
