In the first quarter of 2021, word puzzle enthusiasts in Latin America showed their love for the genre on Android devices. Sensor Tower's data reveals the performance of the top five word puzzle games, offering a glimpse into the region's gaming preferences.

Fugo Games' Words of Wonders: Crossword saw a substantial increase in downloads, starting at 100 thousand in the last week of December 2020 and reaching over 200 thousand by the end of March 2021. Weekly active users also climbed from nearly 1 million to over 1 million in the same period, while revenue peaked at 1 thousand in late March.

Clever Apps Pte. Ltd.'s Kitty Scramble: Word Game experienced a more modest performance, with downloads fluctuating around a few thousand per week. However, the game's weekly active users saw a gradual increase, starting at 6 thousand and rising to 8 thousand by the end of the quarter.

Scopely's Scrabble® GO-Classic Word Game maintained a consistent revenue throughout the quarter, hovering around the high hundreds each week. Downloads showed a downward trend, starting at 15 thousand and ending at 7 thousand, while active users remained stable around 50 thousand.

Word Connect by ZenLife Games Ltd had a significant drop in downloads, from 100 thousand in the last week of December to 20 thousand by March's end. Despite this, weekly active users only saw a slight decrease, maintaining above 500 thousand throughout the quarter.

Lastly, Social Point's Word Life - Crossword puzzle showed steady downloads, ranging from 20 thousand to 30 thousand each week. The game's weekly active users remained consistent, with a slight dip in mid-quarter but recovering to around 170 thousand by the quarter's end.
