As the retail landscape continues to evolve, convenience store apps are becoming an increasingly important tool for consumers in the UK. In the first quarter of 2021, Sensor Tower has gathered data on the top 5 convenience store applications, revealing trends in downloads and weekly active users.
7-Eleven Norge, despite generating no revenue, maintained a consistent base of weekly active users, peaking at around 100 in mid-March. The app's downloads fluctuated, with a high of 36 in the second week of January and a low of 4 in late February.
The Circle K App showed a similar pattern, with downloads reaching up to 18 in the second week of February but dipping to 7 by the end of March. Unfortunately, the data on weekly active users for Circle K App was not available.
Dollar General saw modest download numbers in Q1, with a peak of 9 downloads in the fourth week of January. Like the Circle K App, the weekly active user data for Dollar General was not provided.
