In the first quarter of 2021, the enchanting world of unicorn-themed mobile games showed varied performance on the unified platform in Europe. Sensor Tower's data provides an overview of how these games fared in terms of downloads, revenue, and weekly active users.
Kpopsies - Hatch Baby Unicorns by TutoTOONS saw a decrease in both downloads and weekly active users over the quarter, starting at 200 thousand downloads and 600 thousand active users in the last week of December 2020 and dropping to 100 thousand downloads and 500 thousand active users in the final week of March 2021.
Similarly, My Baby Unicorn - Pony Care, also from TutoTOONS, experienced fluctuating download numbers, peaking at 100 thousand in the second week of January before settling around 70 thousand by the end of March. The active user count reached a high of nearly 300 thousand in late February but saw a slight decline to 200 thousand by the end of March.
SOCEM's Unicorn Dash: Fun Runner 2 witnessed a dramatic spike in downloads in mid-February, hitting over 100 thousand before dropping to 40 thousand by the end of March. Weekly active users followed a similar trend, peaking at 100 thousand and then decreasing to 60 thousand in the same period.
Budge Studios' My Little Pony: Harmony Quest maintained a steady performance with downloads hovering around 30 thousand throughout the quarter and active users showing a modest increase from 40 thousand to 40 thousand.
Lastly, Coco Pony - My Dream Pet from Coco Play By TabTale saw a consistent rise in downloads, starting at around 10 thousand and climbing to nearly 20 thousand by the end of February. This was followed by a slight dip to 20 thousand downloads by the end of March. Active users showed growth in February, reaching over 20 thousand before stabilizing at around 20 thousand.
