During the second quarter of 2021, the top 5 consumer finance applications on the Android platform in Venezuela showed varied trends in downloads and active user engagement. Here’s a closer look at how each app performed:
Weekly downloads for BBVA Provinet Móvil experienced a steady increase, starting at around 7.7K at the end of March and peaking at approximately 11.9K in the week of May 10. Active users fluctuated slightly but remained robust, with numbers hovering between 221K and 241K throughout the quarter, ending June with about 231K active users.
BNCNET Móvil saw a notable rise in weekly downloads, starting at 1.9K at the beginning of April and reaching around 3.7K by mid-May. Active user numbers remained relatively stable, ranging from approximately 37K to 44K, with a peak in the week of May 10 and closing the quarter with around 40K active users.
Mi Conexión Bancaribe Digital experienced a varied download trend, starting at 1.3K in late March and peaking at 3.5K in mid-April. Active users demonstrated a steady increase, starting at 8.1K and reaching up to 11.3K by mid-June, maintaining around 10.9K towards the end of June.
Banesco PA had a significant spike in weekly downloads, particularly noticeable in the last week of May, reaching a high of 7.6K. Active users showed a notable rise as well, with numbers increasing from 11.1K at the end of March to a peak of 16.4K by the end of May, before stabilizing around 12.1K in the final week of June.
Bancamiga Suite displayed a consistent download trend, starting at 900 at the end of March and peaking at around 1.9K by early May. Active users saw a steady increase, beginning at approximately 25.8K and reaching a peak of 31.1K in mid-May, closing the quarter with around 29.3K active users.
