In the second quarter of 2021, the top 5 music and audio apps on the Android platform in Turkey showcased a range of performance trends in terms of weekly downloads, revenue, and active users. The data, sourced from Sensor Tower, highlights the dynamics of these apps in the Turkish market.
LMR - Copyleft Music saw a consistent pattern in its weekly downloads, averaging around 140K to 150K, with a notable peak at 167.4K in the week of June 21. Weekly revenue for the app fluctuated, peaking at approximately $542 in late April and maintaining a range between $343 and $451 towards the end of the quarter. Active users remained stable, hovering around 7.3M to 7.4M throughout the quarter.
Music Player & MP3 Player experienced a variable download trend, with figures ranging from 65.6K to 124.2K. The app's weekly revenue remained minimal, with minor peaks at $2. The number of active users showed a positive trend, increasing from around 1.6M in late March to over 2.3M by the end of June.
Spotify: Music and Podcasts maintained a steady download rate, averaging around 70K to 87K weekly. Active users for Spotify also showed stability, with figures consistently around 5M, peaking at over 5.1M in late May.
Şarkı Evreni had a steady download rate, with weekly figures ranging from 48.6K to 69.8K. Revenue remained low but consistent, generally around $3 to $4. The app saw an increase in active users, from approximately 721K in late March to over 823K by the end of June.
Shazam: Find Music & Concerts showed a stable download trend, with weekly downloads ranging from 44.1K to 56K. Active users also showed a positive trend, growing from around 1.2M in late March to over 1.28M by the end of June.
