In the second quarter of 2021, the top sports apps on the Android platform in Turkey exhibited varying trends in downloads, revenue, and active users. The data, sourced from Sensor Tower, provides a detailed look at these trends, revealing some interesting insights.
Head Ball 2 - Online Soccer from Masomo Gaming saw a significant uptick in weekly downloads towards the end of the quarter, reaching approximately 150K by mid-June. The app's weekly revenue also experienced a steady climb, peaking at around $27.8K in early May. Meanwhile, weekly active users increased dramatically from 728.6K at the end of March to over 1.2M by the end of June.
8 Ball Pool by Miniclip.com maintained a consistent performance throughout the quarter. Weekly downloads fluctuated slightly but remained in the range of 42K to 79.5K, while revenue peaked at nearly $40.4K in early June. The app's active user base showed a modest increase, reaching a high of 363.1K before dropping to 321.3K by the end of the quarter.
Dream League Soccer 2024 from First Touch Games Ltd. demonstrated stable weekly downloads, hovering around 45K. Revenue reached its maximum at approximately $14.6K in early May. The app also saw an increase in active users, climbing from 667.7K at the start of the quarter to 788.9K by the end.
Soccer Superstar by Real Freestyle Soccer had a notable rise in weekly downloads towards the quarter's end, with numbers increasing from around 25K in May to over 77K by late June. The active user count also surged from 237.9K in March to over 330.6K by June, although the app did not generate any revenue during this period.
Lastly, World Soccer League by mobirix experienced a decline in weekly downloads, falling from 53.8K in late March to 23.1K by the end of June. Revenue remained minimal throughout the quarter, with a slight peak of $58 in early May. Active users decreased from 349.2K at the beginning to 231.8K by the end of the period.
