During the second quarter of 2021, the performance of the top five investing and financial management applications on the iOS platform in Hungary showcased some interesting trends. According to Sensor Tower data, these apps experienced diverse patterns in downloads and active user engagement.

Binance: Buy Bitcoin & Crypto saw its weekly downloads peak in early May at around 1.9K, followed by a gradual decline to approximately 282 by the end of June. Meanwhile, weekly active users increased steadily from about 5.7K at the start of the quarter to over 10.3K by the end.

Coinbase: Buy Bitcoin & Ether showed a similar pattern in downloads, starting at 282 in early April and reaching a high of 854 in mid-May before tapering off to 158 by late June. Its active user base remained relatively stable, hovering around 1.5K to 2.3K throughout the quarter.

StormGain: Crypto Trading App experienced a significant spike in downloads in mid-April, reaching 648, but this number decreased to 82 by the end of June. The app's active users increased from 274 at the beginning of the quarter to nearly 2K by its conclusion.

Trust: Crypto & Bitcoin Wallet had its highest download figures in mid-April with 756, followed by fluctuations that ended at 238 in late June. The active user trend mirrored this pattern, starting at 762 in early April and peaking at around 1.5K by the end of the quarter.

Finally, Capital.com: Trading & Finance experienced a modest peak in downloads in mid-April at 287, which then decreased to 123 by June's end. Active users for this app showed a slight increase over the quarter, from 578 to 676.
