The second quarter of 2021 saw interesting trends for the top five air travel apps in Cyprus on unified platforms. Here's a closer look at their performance, based on data from Sensor Tower.

Aegean Airlines experienced a steady increase in weekly downloads, starting at 422 in the last week of March and climbing to 590 by the end of June. The app saw a notable peak of 629 downloads in the week of June 21. However, there was no recorded revenue for this period.

Ryanair also showed a positive trend in downloads. Starting from 169 downloads in the last week of March, the app reached 708 downloads by the end of June. Noteworthy increases were observed towards the end of the quarter, with weekly downloads surpassing 500 starting from early June. Similar to Aegean Airlines, Ryanair had no recorded revenue.

Wizz Air - Book Flights saw its downloads rise from 125 at the end of March to 514 by the end of June. The app had a significant spike in the week of June 14, with 645 downloads. Throughout the quarter, Wizz Air maintained a consistent upward trajectory in user engagement, although no revenue was reported.

Pegasus: Cheap Flight Tickets demonstrated a varied download pattern. Starting at 233 downloads in late March, the app peaked at 376 downloads in the week of May 24 before settling at 279 by the end of June. Despite fluctuating download numbers, Pegasus did not generate any revenue during this quarter.

Flightradar24 | Flight Tracker showed growth both in downloads and revenue. Downloads increased from 98 in late March to 307 by the end of June, with a steady rise observed throughout the quarter. The app's revenue peaked at $188 in the week of May 10 and maintained a consistent range around $100-$140 for the rest of the period.
