During the second quarter of 2021, the top 5 Books and Reference applications in the United Arab Emirates showcased diverse trends in downloads, revenue, and active users. The data, sourced from Sensor Tower, provides a detailed view of the performance of these apps.
Quran Majeed – القران الكريم, published by Pakdata, experienced notable fluctuations in both downloads and revenue. Weekly downloads peaked at 8.4K in mid-April and saw another rise to 3.3K by the end of June. Revenue trends mirrored this, with a high of approximately $399 in early May, although it dipped significantly to around $50 in mid-May. Active users ranged from 46.5K to 67.4K, showing a general downward trend towards the end of the quarter.
The New Video Call Free Chat Guide app, by Shadyjeff, maintained a steady download rate throughout the quarter. The app's weekly downloads ranged from 1.7K to 3.3K, with a peak in mid-May. There was no revenue reported for this app during the period.
Al QURAN - القرآن الكريم, from 9D Muslim Apps, saw a significant spike in downloads in early April, reaching 11.4K. Post this peak, downloads stabilized around the 500-600 range. Active users showed a similar pattern, peaking at 15.4K in mid-April before tapering off to approximately 7.6K by the end of June.
The HOLY QURAN (القرآن الكريم) app by Sahell had a notable surge in downloads in early April, hitting close to 9.9K. Following this, the downloads saw a steady decline, ending the quarter around the 400 mark. Active users followed a comparable trend, peaking at 9.1K in mid-April and gradually decreasing to about 2.2K by late June.
Lastly, Live Translator, developed by Viral Yellow Apps, exhibited a steady increase in downloads, peaking at 3.1K by the end of June. Active users also showed a positive trend, increasing from 1K in late March to 2.2K by the end of the quarter.
