In Q2 2021, the top city building games in Israel exhibited diverse performance trends across downloads, revenue, and active users. Here’s a closer look at the data from Sensor Tower for City Takeover, My Town - City Life Story game, SimCity BuildIt, Global City: Building Games, and Idle Eco Clicker: Green Planet.
City Takeover saw a fluctuating trend in weekly revenue, peaking at $28 in mid-April and again at $27 in mid-June. Weekly downloads steadily declined from 5.1K at the start of the quarter to around 769 by the end. Active users also decreased from 13.7K in late March to 6.9K by the end of June.
My Town - City Life Story game had a notable peak in weekly revenue of $176 in early May, but generally maintained lower figures around $30-$40 for most of the quarter. Weekly downloads remained relatively stable, averaging around 500-700, with a slight increase to 616 in the final week of June. Active users showed a gradual decline from 2.1K at the start to 1.5K by the end of the quarter.
SimCity BuildIt experienced a significant weekly revenue peak of $5K at the beginning of the quarter and another high of $3.9K at the end of June. Weekly downloads saw an increase in May, peaking at 845. Active users demonstrated a consistent upward trend, reaching 6.6K in mid-June before a slight dip to 5.8K in the final week.
Global City: Building Games had a varied revenue stream, spiking at $913 in late May. Downloads were inconsistent, with notable peaks of 866 in mid-May and 694 in mid-April. Active users also fluctuated, peaking at 1.7K in mid-May and ending the quarter at around 960.
Idle Eco Clicker: Green Planet had minimal revenue, with a brief peak of $30 in mid-April. Downloads showed a downward trend, starting at 418 and dropping to 119 by the end of June. Active users also decreased from 1K at the end of March to 646 by the end of June.
