In the second quarter of 2021, the top five dating apps in Germany exhibited varying trends in downloads, revenue, and active users. Here’s a detailed look at their performance based on data from Sensor Tower.
Tinder saw a significant rise in weekly revenue, peaking at approximately $1M in the week of June 21. Weekly downloads fluctuated, with the highest number reaching about 42K in the week of May 24. Active users remained relatively stable, averaging around 2.6M weekly, with a slight peak to about 2.7M in mid-June.
LOVOO had consistent weekly revenue, averaging around $240K, with a notable peak of $278K at the end of March. Downloads were steady as well, with a high of around 35K in early April. Active users showed a gradual increase, peaking at approximately 613K in late June.
Azar’s weekly revenue showed a downward trend initially but stabilized around $145K by the end of June. Weekly downloads varied, with a peak of about 21K in early April. Active users remained relatively steady, averaging around 145K weekly.
Bumble’s revenue remained stable throughout the quarter, averaging around $105K weekly. Downloads peaked at approximately 26K in mid-May. Active users showed a slight increase, peaking at around 372K in late May.
Badoo experienced stable weekly revenue, averaging around $85K, with a peak of $96K in early May. Downloads were consistent, peaking at about 22K in early April. Active users saw a slight decline, averaging around 600K weekly by the end of June.
