During the second quarter of 2021, the top five food delivery service applications in the United Kingdom displayed diverse performance trends in terms of downloads and active users. Here's a closer look at how these apps fared.

Uber Eats: Food Delivery experienced fluctuations in weekly downloads, starting at approximately 132K in early April and dipping to around 82K by early June, before rebounding to 108K by the end of June. Active users for the app showed a similar pattern, beginning the quarter at roughly 4.2M, dipping to a low of about 3.3M in early June, and recovering to 4.2M by the end of the quarter.

Deliveroo: Food & Shopping saw its weekly downloads ranging from 75K to 117K. The app's active users demonstrated minor fluctuations, starting the quarter with about 2.9M and closing with approximately 2.8M. Despite minor variations, the app maintained a relatively stable user base throughout the quarter.

Just Eat - Food Delivery maintained steady weekly downloads, moving from 72K to 87K by the end of June. Active users showed a slight increase over the quarter, climbing from around 1.8M to nearly 1.9M by the end of June.

Too Good To Go: End Food Waste had weekly downloads that varied significantly, peaking at around 85K in late April and dropping to approximately 47K by the end of May, before rising again to 73K by the end of June. The app's active users remained relatively stable, hovering around the 500K mark throughout the quarter.

getir: groceries, food&beyond showed a notable increase in weekly downloads, starting at about 26K in late March and reaching 80K by mid-April, before stabilizing around the 30K to 40K range. Active users also saw a consistent rise, beginning at 63K and ending the quarter at approximately 178K.
