In the second quarter of 2021, the top health and fitness applications on the unified platform in Denmark showcased varied performance trends across downloads, revenue, and active user metrics. Here’s a closer look at the data compiled by Sensor Tower.
StepsApp Pedometer from StepsApp GmbH demonstrated a steady weekly revenue pattern, peaking at approximately $967 in late April. However, weekly downloads showed a downward trajectory, starting from around 3.9K at the quarter's beginning and ending at roughly 1.7K. Meanwhile, weekly active users fluctuated slightly, maintaining a range of about 52K to 58K.
Lifesum: Food and Diet Tracker, published by Lifesum AB, experienced a revenue peak of approximately $25.4K in late April. The app's weekly downloads began with a high of 3.7K in early April, tapering to around 2.1K by the end of June. Active user numbers remained relatively stable, hovering between 36K and 43K throughout the quarter.
Garmin Connect™, published by Garmin, did not generate revenue during this period. However, weekly downloads remained consistent, fluctuating between 2K and 3.1K. The app maintained a robust active user base, with numbers ranging from 216K to 243K.
The app Yoga Go: Workout & Exercises by WELLTECH APPS LIMITED saw a notable revenue peak of $8.2K at the beginning of April, followed by a decline. Downloads varied significantly, starting at around 3K and dropping to below 400 by the quarter's end. Active user engagement mirrored this trend, with numbers ranging from 1.9K to 5.9K.
Kemiluppen, a Danish app by Forbrugerrådet, did not report any revenue during this quarter. Nevertheless, it achieved a significant download peak of approximately 12.2K at the beginning of April, which gradually decreased to around 678 by the end of June.
