The third quarter of 2021 saw interesting trends in the performance of the top five dining and restaurant apps on the Android platform in Bulgaria. Here’s a detailed look at their weekly downloads and active users, based on data from Sensor Tower.
Zomato: Food Delivery & Dining experienced a varied trend in weekly downloads. Starting strong with 9.7K downloads in the first week of July, the app saw a peak of 15.5K mid-month, followed by fluctuations that led to a significant drop to 1.5K by the end of September. Active users for Zomato showed an overall upward trend, peaking at 127K in mid-September before slightly decreasing to 105K by the end of the quarter.
Dominos Pizza Bulgaria maintained a relatively stable download rate throughout the quarter. Weekly downloads ranged from approximately 500 to 800, with a notable increase to 830 in the final week of September.
McDonald's showed a steady growth in weekly downloads, starting from 372 at the beginning of July and reaching a peak of 843 in the third week of September. The app’s active users also demonstrated a gradual increase, peaking at around 15K mid-September before slightly declining to 14.3K by the end of the quarter.
Happy Delivery Mobile had a consistent performance in terms of downloads, with numbers ranging from 400 to 500 weekly. The app saw its highest downloads of 515 in the last week of August.
Dodo Pizza experienced considerable fluctuations in weekly downloads. The app started with 438 downloads at the beginning of July, saw a peak of 932 mid-September, but dropped significantly to 151 in the following week. Active users for Dodo Pizza also varied, with a peak of 2K in mid-September, decreasing to 1.2K by the end of the quarter.
