In Q3 2021, the top 5 fast food and fast casual restaurant apps on the Android platform in France exhibited diverse trends in weekly downloads and active users. Here’s a closer look at their performance based on data from Sensor Tower.
McDo+ saw a notable fluctuation in weekly downloads, starting from around 43K at the end of June and reaching a low of 25.7K in mid-July. However, the app rebounded, peaking at about 37.6K downloads in early September. Weekly active users showed a similar pattern, with a slight drop from 334K to approximately 314K in early July, followed by a gradual increase to around 339K by late August.
BURGER KING France experienced a significant dip in weekly downloads from roughly 39K in late June to around 15.9K by mid-July. However, the app regained momentum, reaching around 44.1K downloads in mid-September. Weekly active users followed a similar trend, decreasing from 246K in late June to 174K by mid-July, then climbing back up to around 287K by mid-September.
KFC Fidélité maintained a relatively stable download rate, with weekly downloads hovering between 3.8K and 4.8K throughout the quarter. Weekly active users also showed stability, starting at around 17.5K in late June and fluctuating slightly to end at approximately 17.2K in late September.
Domino's Pizza France displayed consistent weekly downloads, ranging from about 3.1K to 4.7K. Weekly active users saw a minor decline from 15.5K in late June to around 13.3K in late August, before climbing back to approximately 15.1K in early September.
McDonald's experienced a varied download trend, with weekly downloads starting at about 2.9K in late June, peaking at around 4.4K in early August, and then declining to roughly 2K by the end of September. Weekly active users showed a similar pattern, starting at 26.3K in late June, peaking at approximately 27.7K in early August, and ending at around 24K by the end of September.
