In Q3 2021, the Hack and Slash category on the Android platform in Oceania saw notable performances from Honkai Impact 3, Punishing: Gray Raven, MARVEL Future Fight, Darkness Rises, and Legacy of Discord-FuriousWings. Here’s a closer look at their performance metrics according to Sensor Tower data.
Honkai Impact 3 showed a significant increase in weekly revenue, peaking at around $31.9K in mid-August. Weekly downloads fluctuated, with a high of 696 in mid-July and a low of 338 by the end of September. Weekly active users started at 3.1K in late June and saw a slight decline to approximately 2.9K by the end of the quarter.
Punishing: Gray Raven experienced its highest weekly revenue of about $30.9K in early August, followed by a gradual decline to around $3.8K by the end of September. Downloads also saw a sharp decrease from 7.4K in mid-July to 361 by the end of the quarter. Active users peaked at 4.7K in mid-July and decreased to about 1.5K by late September.
MARVEL Future Fight had a consistent performance with revenue peaking at $9.2K in mid-July. Weekly downloads were highest at 1.3K in late August, while active users remained relatively stable, starting at 9K in late June and ending the quarter at approximately 7.8K.
Darkness Rises saw its weekly revenue peak at about $5K in early August. Downloads were steady, ranging from 176 to 343 throughout the quarter. Active users hovered around 1.5K to 1.8K, showing a small increase mid-quarter.
Legacy of Discord-FuriousWings had its highest revenue of $2.3K in early September. The app had minimal download activity, with a notable spike of 17 in mid-August. Active users data was limited, peaking at 10 in mid-August.
